to Taos or Albuquerque.

"Six pawprints! Complementary coffee and breakfast, onsite laundry facilities, private room with soft pillows, two dedicated tour guides/travel companions AND two onsite cats (who may or may not deign to allow themselves to be petted, as the mood strikes)
. . . what's not to like? Best of all is seeing and spending good times
with friends. The mountain view is just gravy. Oh yeah, and be sure to request John's famous Lemon Ricotta pancakes. Oh baby".

"Sights seen this trip: Taos, Black Mesa winery, art galleries, downtown Plaza and shopping, LaFonda Hotel lobby and great public art by Gerald Cassidy, Inn of the Turquoise Bear (writer Witter Bynner's home), Jemez Springs/Valles Caldera, Albuquerque (including historic Route 66 aka Central Avenue), 10 Thousand Waves Japanese Baths and great restaurants (Harry's Roadhouse, Bobcat Bite, Jinga, Tia Sophia, Tecolote Cafe, Lula's Cafe, Kakawa Chocolate House, Del Charro Saloon, Ohori's Coffee.) Plus other things I've probably forgotten. Santa Fe is beautiful in any season".
